Stumbled upon this short clip of James (left) and Frank (right) in my archives and had to share it. I'm currently painting Frank's face and it's such an encouragement for me to hear his laugh - motivates me to work! Hope to finish his painting in the next week or two and start the next!

Paint Paint Paint! Woo Woo!

April

Where has April gone? Much Even Me painting has taken place amidst the hectic-ness. April was full of events and projects such as a trip home to Pensacola, a short weekend visit from my MY-am-ME cousin named Lindsey, the shooting (don't worry, camera not bullets) of Carly and Jake Robertson's fabulous wedding (see photos here), the start of a black velvet painting for the owner of the coolest Cafe in Deland, and the works of a comissioned oil painting for my sweet Uncle Izzy.

I must say, my Even Me painting time has been devoted to finishing three rewards for three lovely backers! Out of all the rewards, this reward has taken the most time because it's very special. If you check out my kickstarter project, you'll see that the $500 reward I'm working on is a 12 x 12" Even Me painting! Having worked on 48 x 48" panels, I feel like I have to become the smallest Jenna possible to execute these minuscule pieces. I crouch down, use a magnifying glass, and apply small, not large, brush strokes! Nonetheless, the rewards are coming beautifully and are a priority to finish.
